Themes Overview

WP LinkCanvas includes five built-in theme presets and a fully customisable custom theme builder. The theme controls the entire visual identity of the bio page — background, link card style, typography, colours, border radius, and player colours. Themes apply globally to the bio page across all languages.

Choosing a theme#

In the bio page editor, scroll to the Theme section. Select one of the five preset buttons or choose Custom to build your own. The theme is saved with the bio page — different bio pages on the same site can use different themes.

The five presets#

Midnight#

A deep near-black background (#0a0a0f) with a dark navy card gradient and orange accent (#FF6A00). Link cards have rounded corners (14px) and a subtle white border at 8% opacity. White text throughout.

Best for: fitness brands, music artists, nightlife, anything that benefits from a premium dark aesthetic.

Aurora#

A very deep indigo-black background (#06021a) with purple-tinted cards and a bright cyan accent (#00f0ff). Link cards have 12px corners with a glowing accent. White text with a sci-fi edge.

Best for: gaming creators, tech personalities, electronic music, futuristic brands.

Paper#

A warm off-white background (#f0ebe1) with a cream card surface and a burnt orange accent (#c2410c). Uses a serif font stack (Iowan Old Style, Baskerville, Times New Roman) for a refined editorial feel. Link cards have 6px corners and a light shadow.

Best for: writers, photographers, lifestyle brands, personal coaches, anything with a clean editorial look.

Brutalist#

An off-white background (#f5f5f0) with crisp white cards and a high-contrast red accent (#cc003a). Uses Helvetica Neue — the closest thing to no-design design. Link cards have square corners (0px radius) and a heavy 2px black border that shifts on hover.

Best for: creatives, designers, musicians, and anyone who wants to stand out by deliberately rejecting the softness of typical bio pages.

Sunset#

A warm gradient background sweeping from amber through coral to deep rose (#ffb347 → #ff6b6b → #c2185b) with white accent and fully rounded cards (24px). Text is dark for readability on the warm gradient.

Best for: fashion, beauty, fitness lifestyle, food, and anyone who wants a warm, vibrant, energetic feel.

Custom theme#

Select Custom to access the full token editor — 14+ fields covering every visual aspect of the page. This is documented separately in Custom Theme Builder.

What the theme does not control#

• Content — the theme only controls visual styling, not the links, text, or images
• Layout — the bio page always uses the same single-column layout regardless of theme
• Per-link overrides — individual link styles (card, button etc.) inherit from the theme but can be further adjusted with Custom CSS

Applying to all languages#

The theme is global — there is no per-language theme option. All language versions of the same bio page use the same theme.
