6 link types
Button, Enhanced Link (card), Media, Embed, Shortcode, and Vidstack player. Mix and match per language. Each type is separately sanitized and scoped.
Link attribution and source routing
Know where every click comes from. UTM passthrough and source routing rules send Instagram visitors to one tracking link, YouTube to another, and direct visitors to the fallback.
Embed link type
Paste a URL from YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, or Bandcamp. The plugin fetches the title and thumbnail automatically via oEmbed and renders it as a styled card that matches your theme.
Country name placeholders
Use {country} or {country_code} anywhere in your title, bio, or link labels. They render in the visitor's language from 6,262 bundled translations.
Scheduled link visibility
Schedule individual links to appear or disappear at a specific date and time. Useful for limited-time offers, launches, and seasonal promotions.
Sensitive content gate
Add an age confirmation modal to the whole page, or gate individual links separately. Visitors must confirm before the content or link is revealed. Configurable message text.
QR code widget
A scannable QR code overlay for your bio page URL. Customize the foreground color, background color, or make the background transparent to match your theme.
Avatar animations
Give your profile photo a motion effect. Choose from pulse, float, spin, or bounce keyframe animations. All CSS-only, zero JS, zero performance cost.
Manual showcase (no WooCommerce)
The product showcase rail works without WooCommerce. Paste any URL, image, title, and price to build a manual product or content rail on any site.
Per-language SEO

Full-page takeover

Add custom CSS directly to any bio page. Sanitized and capped at 50KB. Tag injection is stripped automatically.

Common questions

Do I need WPML or Polylang installed?
No. WP LinkCanvas runs in standalone manual mode. You configure languages directly in the plugin settings. If WPML or Polylang is installed, it is auto-detected and your language list is pre-populated so you don't have to re-enter it.
Which geo detection providers are supported?
Cloudflare (CF-IPCountry header, automatic on all Cloudflare plans), Bunny.net (via Edge Rule), and freeipapi.com as a free fallback. You can also plug in any custom provider via a WordPress filter hook.
Does geo targeting work with page caching?
Yes. A lightweight client-side check verifies geo state on page load via a no-cache REST endpoint. Cached pages still show the correct links per country with no visible delay on modern connections.
Does the Vidstack player load on every page?
No. The Vidstack bundle only loads on bio pages that actually have a Vidstack link type. Pages with only button or card links load nothing from Vidstack.
Is WooCommerce required?
No. WooCommerce is entirely optional. If it is not active, the showcase rail simply does not appear. All other plugin features work independently of WooCommerce.
Does it work with any WordPress theme?
Yes. Bio pages use a full-page standalone template that completely bypasses your active WordPress theme. No CSS conflicts, no layout issues, no admin bar on the frontend.
How does import and export work?
You can export any bio page as a portable file from the plugin settings. Import it on any other WordPress site running WP LinkCanvas. All languages, links, and settings are preserved. Great for agencies deploying the same bio setup across multiple client sites.
How many links and languages can I add per page?
Up to 200 links per language and 50 languages per bio page. Title capped at 500 characters, bio at 50,000 characters, and URLs at 2,048 characters.
